MorningFame: The Secret Weapon for YouTube Growth?

YouTube SEO tools are becoming more popular as the platform goes. They’re helpful for up and coming YouTubers to get discovered and they keep larger YouTubers ranking on the 1st page.

These tools pretty much cover all bases and help YouTubers. In this article I’m giving you my review of MorningFame.

I talk about how it works, what you get with it and my thoughts about it, especially in comparison to other SEO tools like VidIQ and TubeBuddy.

Let’s take a look at some of Morningfame’s Features

Analytics Report

The Analytics Report is one of the options you get with MorningFame.

The Traction Tab

The Traction Tab is the Analytics Report’s homepage. It closely looks at your numbers and tells you whether or not your channel is progressing or stagnating.

This gives you an indication of whether or not you need to start making any steps towards growing on YouTube (and the answer is always “yes” – because there’s never enough when it comes to YouTube growth!).

The Strategy Tab

The Strategy tab is the starting point to identifying what your next step on YouTube is going to be. It will show you a graph with different analytics metrics and compare you to the average.

This way, you can see where you need to perform better and think of a plan to do so.

The Workshop Tab

This tab is an extension of the Strategy tab. The graph in the Strategy tab might recommend that you work on your engagement, like in the example above.

So then, you go to the Workshop tab for engagement and it’ll help you with increasing it by showing you exactly what type of engagement you need to improve on your channel.

MorningFame will tell you what you need to do in order to improve your channel performances, as you can see in this example for Gained Subscribers

The Velocity Tab

The Velocity tab shows you how well your videos are performing in the first 72 hours of publishing them.

This tab also allows you to compare between videos on a fair basis – all of the videos are compared on how well they did in the first 72 hours of them being published.

Algorithm tab

The algorithm tab shows you where your views are coming from. That can be from a YouTube channel, Google search, Home, Suggested videos, Trending, Shorts or Linked content.

Using this information can help you understand the strategy to produce more views for your channel.

How MorningFame’s 4-Step Keyword Research Tool Works

Unlike standard SEO tools that return raw monthly search numbers, MorningFame evaluates your specific channel’s ability to rank for a term using a relative grading scale (A+, B, C, D).

#1 – Choose a Topic

MorningFame allows you to come up with the topic on your own or copy and paste a video link that inspired you to create a video on a certain topic or even take inspiration from your existing content to dive further into the topic at hand.

You can even look at channels that are similar to yours to gather inspiration from for your next video’s topic.

#2 – Target a search term

The next step in the process will show you common vs. uncommon keywords, tailoring the keywords to channel size (big channels should and could go for more common keywords and the uncommon keywords are more suitable for smaller channels to target).

#3 – Search and refine

After selecting a keyword, step #3 will show you your Ranking Opportunity for your chosen keyword.  The platform evaluates your channel’s historical performance against top-ranking videos, generating letter grades for Subscribers, Views, Likes, and Relevance. An “A” grade indicates a high probability of capturing search placement.

#4 – Optimize the metadata

This step in the process helps you optimize your video using the keyword for the best relevance score. The higher the relevance score is at the end of the process, the more optimized your video is for that keyword.

There’s not much more to it – simply type in your title, description and tags and watch MorningFame work and calculate the relevance score for your video.

Advanced Features: Niche Spy & The AI Prompt Suite

Beyond channel analytics, MorningFame includes specialized modules designed to streamline topic ideation and audience engagement.

The Niche Spy Module

The Niche Spy tool allows you to monitor competitor momentum without needing expensive enterprise spy tools. By tracking a curated list of channels within your exact subscriber bracket, Niche Spy identifies:

  • Outlier Uploads: Videos that significantly outperform a peer channel’s baseline view average.
  • Content Gaps: Rising topics in your niche that competitor channels are capitalizing on.
  • Format Shifts: Changes in title structure, thumbnail styling, or video duration that are driving recent traffic spikes across your niche.

The Built-In AI Prompt Suite

To help creators navigate YouTube’s shift toward viewer satisfaction signals, MorningFame offers a suite of tailored AI prompts designed for use with ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Rather than generic prompts, these engineered queries focus on monetization and community feedback:

  • Comment Feedback Extraction: AI analyzes comment sections to reveal constructive viewer critique, content requests, and recurring pain points.
  • Affiliate Opportunity Discovery: Scans video topics to identify relevant products, software, and services to promote via affiliate links in video descriptions.
  • Seasonal Trend Spotting: Uncovers predictable search spikes in your niche months in advance, allowing you to batch content before search demand peaks.
  • Gift Guide & Scripting Assistants: Generates structured outline frameworks for product roundups and sponsored video segments.

Morningfame pricing & Invite System

MorningFame operates strictly on an invitation-only basis. New users require an invite code (such as code AVEOGAMING) or a creator referral link to create an account and unlock a 30-day free trial.

Pricing-wise, MorningFame is okay. The difference between the plans is that with the Plus plan, you get unlimited access to the Keyword Research Tool. Unfortunately that’s the biggest reason to use this platform and with the basic plan you only get to use it once every 12 days! That’s 3 days a month!

If you brainstorm beforehand then use the keyword research tool after having plenty of keywords to search, it might be worth it but I can’t recommend that plan. Letting customers use it after every 4-5 days would be MUCH more reasonable.

Pros and Cons Analysis

Pros

  • Personalized Ranking Grades: Evaluates search difficulty based on your actual channel authority rather than generic sitewide estimates.
  • Niche Spy Module: Simplifies competitor tracking by highlighting outlier video ideas within your subscriber tier.
  • Actionable AI Prompts: Provides clear, tailored prompts for comment feedback, affiliate product placement, and seasonal content planning.
  • Clean, Web-Based UI: Eliminates browser extension bloat and speeds up research workflows.

Cons

  • Time-Restricted Basic Tier: Keyword access limited to once every 12 days on the entry plan.
  • Server Seat Queues: Peak usage windows can result in waitlists for keyword research sessions on non-priority tiers.
  • No Bulk Management: Lacks bulk tag editing, card templates, or thumbnail A/B testing features.

Final Recommendation

MorningFame remains one of the most practical analytics and keyword research tools for small-to-midsize YouTube creators. Its channel-relative grading scale prevents creators from wasting effort on overly competitive keywords, while its Niche Spy and AI Prompt Suite offer structured support for topic ideation and monetization.

Alternative Options: High-frequency channels or larger networks requiring bulk video management, live browser extension metrics, or automated thumbnail A/B testing should look toward VidIQ or TubeBuddy.

Ideal Choice For: Small and growing channels (0 to 100,000 subscribers) seeking clear, distraction-free analytics, relative keyword grades, and structured AI workflows.
